Valentines Offers in February

We will offer our special award winning 'Barnsdale Breakfast', home caught oak smoked Rutland Water trout and scramble eggs as an inclusive breakfast option to couples booking for the Valentine's Day period (normally this has an supplemental cost) with special discounts for 2 or more nights also.

The 4 poster Lakeview and Garden view rooms are still available. Log burning stove in private lakeview guest lounge overlooking the water, for that romantic stay.

Winter 2011 and the scenery gets even more spectacular !Conservation work along the lake edge has been beneficial to our Lakeside Lodge. Coppicing some hazel trees by the water's edge has meant the thinning of some huge willows along the bankside. This had now opened the views to the lake even more!! Enjoy the comfort and warmth of the wood burning stove in your private Lakeview Guest Lounge while looking at the amazing sunsets over the lake, this picture was taken in October and November. April 2011 Completely upgraded bedding in rooms for Spring 2011, see here for latest pictures. April is a lovely month at Barnsdale, the promise of Spring but you can still curl up in front of the log burning stove and look at the beautiful views from the private guest lounge and the sunsets can be magnificent at this time of the year. The hedgerows are just coming into full blossom, the birds are nesting and the fields are full of new born lambs. The fly fishing fishing season has begun on Rutland Water and the Lodge freezer is being stocked with delicious Rutland Water trout caught by Rob. Sample the 'Barnsdale Breakfast' cold smoked Rutland Trout & scrambled eggs... The first sighting of an Osprey, this Tuesday 5th April, Rob saw one from Lakeside B&B.
