The Lake has now been stocked with the first of 300 superb quality salmon of up to 12 pounds in weight. The lake opened in October 2008 with a few exclusively invited anglers. Watching these magnificent fish being introduced into their new environment was a real piece of history in the making. Within a few minutes, the salmon were cruising happily along the lake and occasionally rising on the surface. The salmon were highly visible in this remarkably clear spring-fed lake. This is potentially going to be a great fishery famous throughout the world for stalking Atlantic Salmon of huge proportions.
