"I went to Rob's presentation on Atlantic salmon fishing last nite and thought it was brilliant, it was well put together, totally entertaining and informative with some outstanding photography and soundtrack's. Well worth the 80 mile round trip. I would recommend any 'fishing club' that wants to learn more about the prospect of fishing for Atlantic salmon abroad to get Rob in and listen to what he has to say - a fantastic evening. Well done Rob and thanks."  Al Owen , Rutland Cormorants. Rob is available for entertaining presentations to clubs, associations etc.

a true fly fishing adventure on Rutland Water have a great day out like these 2 lucky guys

Very many thanks Rob for a most interesting and informative day. Absolutely brilliant!  It was good to put the technique of casting into life. No matter how many books read or dvd's watched it is simply not the same as having that expert hand. Now I practice. I did find when out on the boat that when I started to apply what you had said, in particular the slowing down, my casting became smooth and easy. And the great bonus was added distance and a more delicate presentation.
The other great thing I found was that the day was not just about casting. With enough practice I think just about anyone would be able to cast a fly well. It was all the rest, entomology, weather, fish habits etc that all together made the day and 'switched the lights on' !
Seriously, thanks for a great day. I am now looking forward to my next trip to Rutland. What a difference to Narborough.
See you soon.   Mike Breffit  HKt.B  Norfolk 12th Sept

Hi Rob, .. Thank you for a great day's fishing. I learned so much from you. Your patience and sense of humour were very much appreciated. The way in which the day was planned was absolutely superb and the content was just right. A lot of things that I had read about in the past now make a lot more sense. The amount of thought and time that you have put into the content of what you teach on the day were obvious and  your going that extra mile with things like the lovely lunch, the photos and your cleaning and bagging the fish all made for a fantastic day which you taught in a  friendly and relaxed way. Having said that I'm still bloody envious of your fishing shed!

Thanks once again Rob, it was great to fish  with  an expert. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT MATE!!!!! .....   Phil Ismay 30th June
